Policing ….And the Indian State….

What is it that make’s the uniform wearing Policeman in India turn into a heartless monster. Whether in subjugating the meek and the political opposition under influence and orders of the ruling party….

Or looking the other way when you have the riots happening… as in Gujrat…Orissa…in fact…Delhi…Everywhere….Or directly suppressing legitimate protests as in Nandigram and other places…Easily forgetting morals and character..

Arresting and harassing married couples as in Delhi citing “Indecency in a Public Show of Affection” …..Laughable…

Molesting and Raping Women as in Bombay…Marine lines outpost…..

The Beating up of a Seven Year old mercilessly….Yesterday..

Makes you wonder since are they not human too…don’t they have normal families, relations, ties, children, parents?

Are they not as affected as we are if something similar were to happen with their people?

Is it that the power they feel they have as men in uniform makes them cruel…and forget the fact that they are the Society’s first to ensure a free and fair life for the citizens…

Is it that they are Underpaid..Less Educated at the lower levels…don’t get our Appreciation for their everyday toil and work?

Do they get insulated from emotions, feelings and fairness due to the amount of crime, the dirt of society and unrepentant political masters and seniors in their ranks…

Do they feel that they are part of a system that condones such behavior…and that they can always get away with anything….

Is it that they feel it is only cases that get highlighted by the media or individuals are to be taken care of…the rest conveniently ignored and swept away…in Fact for every case that is published or highlighted….there are hundreds that take place away from the common knowledge….

Or is it the uniform that makes them behave in this manner? A subject for the scientists no doubt…as in Hitler’s SS, Mau Thugs, Stalin Goons, Programs against the Jews in majority of Europe, Russia and other places beginning from Jerusalem…

Or is it We the People who accept this and are a part of this system?

Pubs & The Hindu Culture……

Well now we have the entry and the discussion of cultures….what’s in the pub culture that’s not hindu….Great….we now have Chief Ministers and Politicians becoming Moral Policemen and deciding whats right and whats not for you and me as deemed by Hindu culture….

The first thing they need to know is that elections and even democracy is not our culture…it is a part of our Nation Building Exercise and derived from our constitution….if they quote culture then they cannot Remain…what say?

Similarly….having gone through all those culture related ancient texts…I do non see Bhagwan Shri Ram wearing pants…neither is Mata Sita there with a salwar so to say?

Then even schools and colleges cannot be our culture since the texts were limited only to certain caste based donkeys…what say?...and what of the temples…etc…can we enter?

And the net and computers should be banned…why?...not part of our culture foolish…so too all the trains, cars, buses, planes..what say?

And what of the army…navy and the air force…well they should wear dhoties…so simple…No Doctors and those allopathic medicines…no burgers..no rotis…no so much and so much stuff that we are doing has to stop..

The tv..movies…stage and shows…no..no…absolutely not…what about the President and the Prime Minister…no…no….not part of the hindu culture…and women at work…absolutely no…no….in the house…do away with them…

And what about the watches…cameras…handy cams….and the ipod…and the mp3/mp4….and what about the newspapers…and the unending list….
In fact we need to try and fly the bullock cart….our culture …what say? And moon going…never…not culture…

And no lifts in the buildings…why…not our culture….whew..this is really getting good….just imagine the new cultural hindu India…..yahoo….welcome to the Hindu Culture World….where there are no boundaries….not the Hindu Culture…only the boundaries of gender, caste, creed, and all the other things…..

The Foundation of any state is the education of its youth. How very true…add to that Basic needs of the citizens such as Health care and basic infrastructure...At the next level investments in infrastructure and policy making and facilitation for individual excellence…in the Arts, Culture, Sports and business..

Then the Regulations including comprehensive security measures for protection f the boundaries as well as assured security for the citizens…..A strong and vibrant society with freedom of the individuals well entrenched and protected with a vibrant judiciary and independent authorities…

Fairness in dealings with all irrespective of the color of the skin, religion, caste or creed…Humane and Honest relations with other Nation states in the World…Help those without …with all means at the disposal.. Harness Nature with Love and Respect….Not Rape and Destruction….

Defend the Meek and believe in the conscience…Respect the Maker and love all Forms of life…Do with less and don’t accumulate…. Live and Let others Live a dignified and decent Life…Respect all values and punish the law breakers…..UTOPIA……Lets HOPE…HOPE is forever….and ever...and ever.....

Life Unifies…Hope for the better..

Well now that the recession is Very Real and DEEP, after having shaken the whole world…the true repercussions are being felt…

It is not a slowdown ….neither a meltdown….rather it is becoming a shutdown…huge …horrible…and totally unpredictable…

The managers need management…and the movers and shakers have truly been moved and shooked…..This is the first case of economic troubles bringing a government down as in Iceland…

One realty check tells us that one base advantage that arises other than the troubles is that maybe…just maybe …this crash will leave an everlasting impression and change the way we do things and just maybe….the materialism….wants…greeds and other things that are a way of life will change…

Very often….after some huge disaster…things went back to the greedy ways as people had a short memory and felt insulated and prosperous again…

This feeling is especially true in the developed countries and led to all those lop sided policies of we know the best…

Nothing was done in all these years of plenty for the poor….undernourished….disease affected….world trade….and other pressing things other than just talk…

Why then will the world have any pity or sympathy for the well off….it is seen as something thoroughly deserved..

In fact the numbers of the jobless unifies with those that never got jobs…and the miseries of House owners unable to meet installments unifies with those who never had houses…and the companies and financial houses unifies with all of them who lose in the political wars and religious wars being fought….

Limiting diets and less food means unification with all the undernourished and the impoverished…..less of health care unifies with all those who do not and cannot have health care the world around…

Sounds Cruel…No…This may really be for the best if this can unify the whole world to share more…join hands…work for common good…and common benefits…if the haves and those better could just bend down and touch those who don’t have…life will be blessed..

And maybe this will make us destroy nature’s precious treasures little more slowly…use less oil…look for alternative sources…less spent in wars and terrorism…more for health…education…food for the starving….settlement of political and religious equations…..a better and faithful way of life….more belief in honesty…humbleness and truth…MORE OF LOVE SHARED AMONG MANKIND…MORE OF LOVE FOR OTHER SPECIES AND NATURE….MAYBE FIGHT THE GLOBAL WARMING IN A BETTER…..JUST MAYBE…AFTER ALL it is HOPE AND HOPE alone that keeps mankind going……

What makes me proud is to really think about my country...India...the Worlds largest democracy...and what an apt fact too..

All the various religions, states, languages, cultures, the haves and the have nots, terrorists and naxals, ruling paries and the opposition, caste based and issue based leaders, linguistic, religion and region based parties, elite india and the rural india, worlds richest people and sucidical farmers, food wastage and lack of one square meal.....

Fighter jets and tanks to the bullock cart, 24/365 net connected to no or less power places, Laloo as the CM and Laloo as the Rail Minister, Kings and Queens of Bollywood to the Pimps and Prostitutes, Dancers in Operas and Dancers in the brothels, Kidney thiefs and Kid killers to Best Medical facilities and advanced research, Successful Moon Yatra and Satellite advances to lack of basic roads qand infrastructure, Scams galore to being among the best in technology, Bus diplomacy to Kargil lunacy, Nuclear pact to Non Alingment....

Hell...We are celebrating the Republic day today...yahooooo.....as i said unity in diversity and shared values...

Something out of Nothing....The new Math..

Well what I would ideally like to do is nothing…the nothing as in the black hole where something and everything is nothing…just imagine where the sum and the multiplication of something and everything will be nothing….great what say?

And just imagine if we could put all the wars, materialistic wants, the entire share market, all those religious fanatics, all the war mongers etc etc into the black hole….we will end up with something thereby proving that there something in nothing also…

What would our Math teachers then tell us?

Nature, God and Obama...Hope just got better

Well, with Obama having completed the formalities of getting sworn in...all eyes are back on America to emerge as the doer and mover once more in an inclusive manner. Where all nations can have pride in themselves and the USA...

What we can look forward to will be a closeness with mother nature where REAL Resources will be deployed for alternative energy, respect for all Gods and religions, maybe more of talk and less of war, and also more of hands on govt controls and definitely we will see Americans saving ...and becoming less consumption oriented...

Obama will be bad for the world economy as he will look inwards first and consolidate the needs of the country first..the world next...which will be good over a period of time..The world will also see a lot of conservatism becoming philosophy...

Will be bad for the immigration and the skilled overseas jobs sector...maybe bad for outsourcing...however the tech and the alternative energy along with the banking sectors will see very positive policies and growth..

Another factor will be more of peace orientation and consolidation of alliances with historical partner nations...no out of the box solutions...maybe a solution in the middle east...not to every ones liking and more importantly ...a stronger and associate Iran....that would be really something...elimination of the Taliban??????

A Desire to see change that will lead us back to the time of liberties, openness, humility and respect...a more inclusive society not driven by only material wants, egos and jealousies....what say?

The simple things of life

The best things are for free...this is widely said and believed true. What it means is the air we breathe, the water we use, the life we have...lots of things that Mother Nature has blessed us with...just imagine..all the seasons, the rains, feelings...what not..

Yet we mess it up...we desire to have everything and in one go and for the SELF...so sad...the time is not far away that even the air that we breathe will be taxed and have to be paid for...

Yet whensoever there is solid blackness and sorrow all around....there emerges Hope ..like the Sunshine...may we wish Barrack Obama all the best...on THIS DAY...and may the world become a BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN....
